Your financial life has a lot of moving parts. We help you bring them together.

You've built real financial success. The question is whether all of it is working together retirement, taxes, estate, insurance, and income pulling in the same direction. That's what River builds.

Who We Are

A Planning Firm. Not a Product Firm.

You may have done some estate planning
You've built a diversified investment portfolio
You have an insurance plan
Each one does their job.

“ Who makes sure the pieces work together? ”

River exists to answer that question.

Who We Work With

Two Questions. One Integrated Plan.

River Financial Group works with mass affluent families who have built real financial success and need someone to hold the whole picture together.

Retirement planning. Benefits planning. Investment management. Care coordination. Brought together into one plan.

What life stage are you in?

Approaching Retirement
Already Retired

What complexities does your family have?

Raising a Child with a Disability
Multiple Generations, Complex Assets

River doesn't treat these as separate conversations.

Whatever your life stage, and no matter your family’s complexity, whether that includes special needs, multiple generations, or both, we build one integrated plan to help you bring them together.

Special needs families are pre-retirees and retirees too, with an additional layer of planning that most advisors were never trained to handle. Learn more  →

Our Story

Leo Rotman founded River because he kept seeing the same problem. Families with real financial success. Real care for the people they loved. And real gaps in their plan, because no one had ever brought all of it together. River is the firm they wished had existed.

Questions We Hear Most Often

Before You Book a Call

River was built to integrate retirement planning, government benefits, estate coordination, and lifetime care funding into a single coordinated plan for families raising a child with a disability.

No. River serves pre-retirees and retirees across a full range of planning needs. Special needs planning is our deepest area of specialization, but it is one of several planning domains we work in.

River discloses fees at the time of service. Financial planning is generally flat-fee, and investment management is generally a percentage of assets managed. Advisors may also earn commissions on insurance and brokerage products through DFPG Investments, LLC. Because compensation varies by service and product, conflicts of interest can arise – we disclose these in our Form ADV and Form CRS and work to manage them in your family’s best interest.

We start with a 15-minute discovery call, with no forms and no pressure. If there’s a fit, we move into a deeper planning conversation where we learn your full picture and show you what an integrated plan looks like for your family.
